August 27th, 2018
This week went by super quick! We did some service last monday and
helped organize an activity for selling clothes at the fairgrounds. It
was a good time and we set a ton of stuff up.
Then on Tuesday we met with Enrique. He is the coolest, he's struggled a little in his life but he wants to learn. He said his life has been changing ever since the elders started coming over. We visit him 2 times a week and are really trying to help him out.
We met with a couple other people and with the members too. This branch is super sweet and all the members are so fun.
Also we went to eat dinner at the Barrientos house. He's from Bolivia and showed us some stuff like old ruins about when Christ came to the Americas. It was sweet, also he speaks some dialect so he will just go off and Elder Casey and I look at each other so confused.
But also this week we had to bike all over the rolling hills because we don't have a whole tom of miles. But I almost ran over roadkill at like 9 o'clock one night haha. Also we did service at Frederick Rescue and helped there with the Zone leaders. We mopped the floor and buffed it again. Then we there out like hundreds of little chocolate milks that went bad. It was sad how much we tossed out. On Sunday we did a bible study with Mario and Gladis about the atonement. It was a good time and we might do another one next week.
Elder Casey and I are gonna start playing ping pong to help us he motivated to work out haha so we will be ping pong masters. But this week was great! Love and miss you all!!
