This week was good. We got a ridiculous amount of snow. 16 inches!
Also a dog peed on my bag.
So when it snowed we shoveled a ton of snow around our apartment and Hno Mirandas house.
We walked a lot and in the snow just had a splendid time. We were grounded so the cars could not drive.
Still out of money so I'm living on chicken and rice. Chicken is not expensive.
Yesterday for Sunday we ate about 30 pounds of food. First we went over to the Selmo house and tried to earn their respect by eating as much as you possibly could. She was happy that we ate almost all of her food and so gained their respect. Then right after that we went to another house. We had dinner with them as well. In total I ate about 4 hours long and 30 pounds of food.
It is a very interesting experience and these Dominicans will not give you respect if you do not eat all of their food.
Also we went to the Diaz baby shower. It was a party. We spoke a ton of Spanish and got to know the members a lot it was a great experience. We have to go turn in the car this week so I'll be on bikes for about 5 days. This week will be interesting. But we had a great week.
