week has been super awesome its snowed a couple times and rained and is
definitely cold haha. My week was awesome the area is cold please tell
grandma thanks
for the coat it works so great,
Some highlights of the week was we were tracting and found Pablo. He let us in and we started to get to know him. Then the whole time he just bible bashed us it was awesome, I didnt really know what he was saying so Elder Barlow took the lead and oh boy it was so interesting. He invited us to church and chastised us for not teaching "La Palabra de Dios"
On tuesday we went and gave a blessing to Iris, an investigator and it was so groovy. Just standing in on it was so great, and her friend Pedro was there and he asked us about the Melchizedek Priesthood so we talked about that and a little about the Book of Mormon. He was so enthusiastic about everything it was sweet. We had zone conference which was awesome to hear President Christiansen and to be taught so much stuff, It was super long haha. Zone conference was 8 HOURS but super spiritual. I almost fell asleep once haha but it was great. During the week we did a lot of knocking and trying to find more investigators because we dont have a lot that we can teach.
While we were walking there was a ton of cop cars that flew by and a swat van and a negotiation van it was so whack. It has been CHILLY haha we go out and walk around in 20 degrees its so awesome.
So on Friday we went to Pablo's church to show him we would keep a promise and it was so crazy, they had a band and it was so loud I didnt quite understand all the words but it was interesting. luckily they didn't bring us up or anything because all I really know is how to teach the Restoration so that would have been an intersting experience. Lots of squished things in the road haha we saw a possum and a cat, then when we were knocking we saw a possum running around it was so mangy.
We taught a Mennonite family last night and they were super nice to let us in, they had a lot of questions and were super cool to talk to, little bashing but it was good. We finally got in contact with Daniel because he works so much but we got to talk to him and met him it was sweet, we go over on Sunday to teach him again. Its so crazy people ask how we know Spanish and they're so surprised when I saw I learned for 6 weeks. haha es el poder de Dios. Overall a great week and Im having such a blast gracias por todo
