December 30th

This week has been really great! It totally doesn’t even feel like
I’ve been here for 3 weeks haha. Sunday was good we gave a lesson on
the significance of Christ’s birth. Sunday’s are always nice because
everything pretty much is in English and we do a temple walk the whole
day is super chill. We had little nativity done by the presidencies
family for all the missionaries it was so cool and all the little kids
were so funny. One was singing a song and he was on the big screen and
totally forgot the words he just shrugs at the camera and mouths “I
don’t know the words” but he played it off eventually. We watched a
Christmas movie and then went home for the night. Waking up on
Christmas was weird because it felt like any other day here haha but I
got to open some presents and had a great morning getting breakfast
and watching a Christmas carol. We got to call home which was really
fun :,) then we had a devotional by Neil L Anderson and one later that
night by David archuleta it was awesome to see them. He sang with
another girl and gave really cool stories about his mission and things
he went through. Plus he sang so that was groovy, all the hermanas
freaked out haha. He waited after and shook everyone’s hand too.
Christmas was great, one I won’t forget. The rest of the days have
been lots of Spanish and learning more doctrine. It’s so great to
study and learn more Spanish. As I teach in Spanish the lessons become
so much more fun and listening to the “investigators” is so awesome
even though I can’t understand it all. Teaching is my favorite part,
to see the investigator realize something or Have something finally
click for them is so awesome. We are teaching Mauricio and he’s super
cool to talk with. Some people have gotten sick and luckily I haven’t
had anything really. Thanks for all the love and support!
