This week was legit! We had a ton of stuff go down. Its been super rainy the past week which is kinda whack for the middle of May. Plus its been cold so I have had to bust the sweaters back out. But Last Tuesday I had an ultrasound... Its a boy!
yea no I'm not prego I just had it for my gallbladder. Everything came out OK, I am not dying so don't worry. But it was the coolest thing ever haha Ultrasounds are the coolest. The senior couple drove us back down to Winchester to the hospital for it. It was weird being back in Winchester, sadly all the Apple blossoms had fallen off the trees so I didn't get to see them. I'll just have to go next year. But the doctor guy was pretty cool and got me in and out in a jiffy.  We had a meeting after with all the Spanish missionaries back in Hagerstown so that was fun.
On Thursday we were slammed packed with stuff to do. We went out in the middle of farmlands to a hospital to give a girl a blessing. They live in Frederick so it was cool to talk to someone from there again. They had cows in the fields right next to the hospital and I wanted to go ride one or take a pic with one but they were too far away haha. I was just floored that there was a hospital in basically the  middle of nowhere. After we got done with that we ran to the church to fill up the baptismal font for Josimar's baptism. It was sweet, a whole ton of people showed up for it. Even a guy we are teaching named Angel. So we got to give him a church tour and he loved it. After the baptism we had food because, well at every Spanish activity I have ever been to there has always been food. There was a group of guys there playing soccer in the gym because every Thursday night they do soccer for the people that want to come. But one of them had brought their kid, he was not there to play soccer lol. Elder Lewis and I were laughing so hard when he would run off the stage, come grab a sandwich and some donut bites and run away like nobody was looking. He was not a small kid by any means and he probably grabbed like 6 donut bites and 4 whole sandwiches. It was hilarious and everyone was laughing by the end of it.
We have been working with the Lopez family lately. They are so awesome. They came to church and I think the kids are going to go to Trek this year with the ward. (Trek is a pioneer activity that they do every 4 years) So they are super involved and we are working with them to have a baptism on the 1st of June. It's going to be awesome. We were totally walking around the other night in on and off rain and ran into Bobby. He's the son, but he was on his way to go hang out with some friends and we totally got to say hi. It was like a little miracle we were able to walk down a random street and talk to him. There has been a lot of little miracles every day where we go to a random place not knowing why and the Lord totally guides us to someone we know or that really needs our help.
This Sunday we had so many people at church it was sweet! They moved the Spanish group into a different, bigger room since we are growing so much. Hopefully we can organize it into a small branch soon. But some pretty legit things are going to go down in the next couple months here.
Speaking of Sunday, Happy Mothers day!!!! Mothers are so amazing, especially mine! But I am so grateful for all the great mothers out there that do their best to help their kids be awesome. Behind every great man or woman changing the world is an even greater mom who helped them get there.
Oh yeah PS all the sisters I came out with that were in my MTC district are going home in 3 weeks that is WHACK.
I love and miss you all! Have an amazing week!
