April 15th, 2019

Well yet another week has gone by super quick! This week was pretty dope, we got to change it up a little and do some service so that was fun. we helped the Mendel family over a ton of stuff to the dump so that was fun. They were going to throw out an old lawn mower and chainsaw but we were like "Hey we know a guy that loves fixing stuff up." So we brought the 2 things to his house and he fixed them pretty darn quick. he has this motorcycle that just sits there that he is trying to fix. He always jokes about selling it to us or us driving it around during or after our missions. He's a funny guy. We had a lesson with Rafael (he is on date for the 4th of May) and so we brought Skippy along. We are teaching Rafael and in the middle of the lesson Skippy gets up and walks over to the tree outside his house. We were all outside already so it wasn't weird, but he reaches down and pulls these random plants out of the ground. He said they were onions and in the middle of this lesson just starts eating them. It was hilarious ahhaha. Rafael didn't seem to care. Skippy gave Elder Randall an onion and told him to eat it haha. Those are the daily adventures with Skippy. 

While we were walking around yesterday we started talking to these people trying to pull up a little tree. We hopped in and started shove;ling with them to get this tree out. We finally got it out and the dad was so surprised that we spoke Spanish. I love doing that to people haha like here I am this super white kid and then I just start going off in Spanish and they are totally taken back. But we did that with this guy Hugo and his kids. We taught them a little and they might even have us back. But what was cool was that a couple weeks ago we talked with the wife and she was definitely not interested, But after service the other half of the family seemed down to have us back over. So service can work miracles. 

But yeah we have been teaching a lot of people, working with members, and doing our best. We are going to try to prepare Skippy and Evelia for the temple in 2 weeks so that will be sweet. But yeah I'm kinda sick of typing so Ill talk to you all next week!
