March 20th, 2019

This week has been another great week! A lot of stuff happened so we will see if I remember it all. Last week was transfers so that was fun. Elder Guzman and I had a baller time and got a lot of good work done here over the past 3 months. On Tuesday night we went and visited with Evelia again to help her understand the temple and everything. She is going to be preparing herself to go to the Philadelphia one once it opens back up, its closed for like a couple weeks. But she is super excited to go and keep learning. Then on Wednesday we had transfers so we woke up super early so the other Elders could get their ride to their next area. I got to hang out with Elder Kennedy for a little so that was fun. We had planned to go try by this one guy in the morning but he wasn't home. So we went to talk to his neighbor and it was so awesome. She had questions about the true church and finding a place where she could feel at peace. It was a testimony builder to me that God sends us where He needs us. We hadn;t planned to talk to her but she was just in our path so we had a great conversation with her. She is moving to Vegas so she said she will look up missionaries when she gets there. So that was sweet. Then we got back to the apartment and switched back with our regular companions. I am with Elder Randall, we were together in Frederick. He's super cool and we get along great. Plus he is gigantic lol I look so short next to him. It was 70 degrees last week for 2 days which felt SOOOO nice. Its been so cold for so long haha. Skippy is on date for baptism march 30th its gonna be so hype. We had a lesson with him and the Johnson family had it was a baller lesson. The spirit was so strong almost everyone was crying it was powerful lesson. Skippy has seen some crazy cool miracles lately. Things have just been falling into place for him its so cool. His alternator was broken so he had ordered a new one, they sent him a broken one so they gave him his money back and a new alternator. Then one day this week his car just starts working like it was perfectly fine. So the alternator just started working, Skippy was low key freaking out haha. He keeps saying something fishy is going on and I'm like dude its the Lord he's working things out for you. then we were having a lesson with him and he was talking about needing juice for his liver. So we went to leave and we open the front door... low and behold there were 2 jugs of orange juice and a bag or oranges sitting on his porch. He kept asking us how we brought him the stuff, but the thing was that we didn't bring anything or tell anyone to bring anything. It was so crazy, nobody else knows he needed orange juice but somehow there were 2 jugs sitting there for him. The Lord provides for those that keep the commandments. So we have been seeing a ton of baller miracles happening in the lives of those we teach. But yeah there is a ton of stuff happening lol I can;t even type out most of it. Just know the Lord is watching out for us and we are working hard as ever.
