September 4th, 2018
his week has been a good long week. Last Monday we went to Hno
Castillo's house for dinner and as we were talking with him he said "I
can drive you guys around whenever you need." So we took him up on his
offer and asked if he could drive us out to Damascus.
So the next day we went out and Hno Castillo worked with us all night. It was so awesome and we had a great time. We visited the members out there and got a lot done.
Then on Wednesday we had Zone conference and it was sweet. We talked about confidence and the things the zone needs. Then that night we went to the Martinez house and had a barbeque with them. It was a blast and his wife made the best egg rolls ever. Then we had some meeting to get everything ready for our activity we will have this Friday. It's going to be like the one we did in Baltimore with the table and everything.

Then during the weekend we went out with Saul and and visited a family. Then during the visit it starts POURING rain outside and we knew our bikes were soaked.
So we get out of the appointment and drive to try by another family. Then we hopped out and tried to walk through the grass to get to the house and it was soaked. We soak our shoes and Saul looks at us and says in broken English "bad shortcut." it was great, then we rode our bikes home and got even more soaked. Then yesterday we went to a branch activity and it was a blast. There was a ton of food and a lot of people. Then we were playing soccer and I totally got hit in the face and got a bruise from my glasses. I totally looked like a doofus. But it was a great time.
Also last night we felt like we should have knocked a certain door so we walk up and knock on it. Then this dude comes out with his giant dog and starts asking us who we are. So we tell him maybe we can come back later and his wife starts freaking out. She says we are trespassing and that she was going to call the police. It was a grand time. But this week was long and a great time. Love and miss you all!!
