This week went by super quick. On Tuesday we had preparation day then the rest if the week was normal. Wednesday we had our 3 week meeting where the trainers and trainees meet up with President to see how everything is going. It was a good meeting and I got some tips on how to be better. I woke up so out of it like Elder Casey was just looking at me like I was out of my mind. But we went with Elder Harley and Southam and got chick-fil-a after. They totally ripped us off and gave me the wrong sandwich but hey that's ok. Then that night we were with Enrique and teaching him and he accepted to be baptized! He's come a long way and it's super great to see him continue to change. But Thursday we visited Enrique again and walked around a lot. Then on Friday we got to do service for the last time at Frederick Rescue. We did our table activity like the one in Baltimore and as soon as we syart3d it started pouring rain like crazy. After the activity we got pizza with the Salvador family. The next day we got to talk to Elder D Todd Christofferson. It was so cool. We all took a pic and I got to see missionaries I haven't seen in forever! But he took a pic with us and then shook each one of our hands. It was literally so sweet, he definitely is an apostle of the Lord. We had a meeting with him and 3 members of the Seventy. They talked about some things we need to be doing better and some things that can help us. Elder Christofferson was totally falling asleep during one part of it, but he goes all over and is so exhausted. Then at night we went out to Damascus and tried by 5 member houses and nobody was home. We were so confused and decided to go to the last house, the Ramirez family. We walk to the back and every single person we had tried by before was there for her birthday. So we stayed and enjoyed some bomb ribs and food and set up a bunch of appointments. It was such a great ending to that night. Also Friday night it started raining and it's been raining non-stop since then. Sunday was Stake conference and we almost had to translate. But sister Advincula did it so we didnt have to. She was going ham haha it was so quick. I was able to keep up in my head on some parts but I got lost on others. It was super fun. And then we visited a bunch of members yesterday. Then we went back to the apartment to warm up since we were literally soaked to the bone. We get a text from one of the people we are teaching saying they dont want to meet with us anymore and that they are just going to go back to how they were. We knew he was needing some solid help so we rode our bikes as fast as we could to his house. His parents said he was sleeping so we decided to say a prayer. Elder Casey suggested we call him over Facebook and so we did and he told us to come inside. We talked him through his emotions and the Spirit was so strong. We helped him calm down and he gave us some cake. Then we asked to come over Tuesday and he said "of course" I felt like we had actually helped someone. It was amazing to see what happens when we follow the impressions we get. But this week has been so great. Love and miss you all. Pray that the rain stops lol.
