June 18th, 2018

 This week is been great! We had zone conference and it was the last one for present and sister Christiansen. it was great to see missionaries I had not seen for a while. Also president and sister Christiansen are the greatest. They have taught me so much in my mission thus far and will do great things when they get home. 

Also this week we learned how to make more Hispanic food. They're called pupusas. It's super common in the Central American countries.

Cooking is actually super easy haha and these are so fun to make. The weather has been getting a lot warmer and the crazy people are starting to come out. We heard gunshots the other night and last night as we were waiting for the bus. 

Last night we decided to visit Freddy and gambled on missing another bus. He was super cool he had served a mission in Guatemala dang it Ecuador. (voice typing with Elder Stackhouse correcting)

 He gave us a ride home it was a miracle that he was even home. 

 

We had dinner with hermana Esther yesterday. She is the greatest and is basically the grandma of the branch and takes care of everyone. We have some super good food from Peru. I'm very surprised I haven't started gaining a lot of weight in this branch. 

For father's day on Sunday we set up a dinner the day before. elder Stackhouse and I went in the morning and prepare the entire thing and then none of our investigators could go so we didn't get to go. 

 

So we spent the entire day out working and had a lot of success that day. Our investigator Wilson is super cool and we seen hi. around town a ton. We're going to play tennis with him today so that'll be super fun. It's going to be 95 degrees so we'll be pretty dead tired after. He's super awesome and is learning about the Book of Mormon and how to pray. 

We had service again on Friday and it was a good time going to serve at beans and bread. Sometimes just super sad to see people on drugs or who's minds are totally gone. But I guess that's why we're here help those who need it. Mission still great still loving it still working hard. 

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's back home. Your example and sacrifices are always seen by your kids. Super grateful for my dad and everything that he's done to him and get to where I am now. Even though they are on vacation in California and at a beach house. But yeah another great week talk to you on next week love you!!!
