May 7th, 2018 (out of order)
Yep, Im slacking in my missionary mom duties!! Well I messed up and never posted May 7th update so here it is!
This week has been a pretty good one. We were able to find a part member family whose dad is a member but couldn't find the church times in Spanish. They're super cool and are gonna try to come to church. We met again with Luis and we're able to give him some clothes to go to church since he only has street clothes. He want able to come to church but hey we are hoping he comes next week. We met with Erick and Cristina and they had so many questions.
They seem like they actually want to learn and it was a good refresher. Haha Maria was annoyed that we only get to call on mothers day and Christmas.
She said "pero es su madre!?" it's funny to see people's reactions to a missionaries life.
We were able to go to Hno Ochoa's house and help him rip up his floor. It was a good time haha we had a ton of food too. He makes some pretty darn good tortillas. And he says we are going to come over and learn how to make them so fingers crossed. And we did service for Hno Miranda too haha we just vacuumed and shampooed his carpet, and he's just gonna rip it out so we will go over another day haha. Also we visited with other investigators and the weather is nicer as well! Plus we live by a huge farm which is pretty awesome, except for when it reeks sometimes.
But yup I can't think of anything else, the work is good here. Nobody came to church but hey we are trying.
