April 9th. 2018
This week was good. We still have not got the car back yet (it's in the shop) so we have
been biking a couple days.
We found two new investigators. One is named O and he's a super cool young kid. He got a clarinet and he is into technology and making speakers and cool stuff like that it was super awesome. Also when we were just teaching him in his house his parents just were super cool with that, didn't even ask who we were haha It was kind of funny.
Then one day when we were riding bikes we found C. She's super awesome and we taught her on her doorstep because there wasn't a man in the house. It's funny because all the Dominicans know from the Dominican Republic that the missionaries can't come in without a man.
So if we're on the door and there's not a man home they know to tell us right then "oh I would let you in the house but there's not a man home and I know you can't come in without a man in the house sorry. "
Pretty funny. Sorry about last weeks weekly (I forgot to send one!) I'm obviously doing better haha here is mine for this week.
Transfers are on Wednesday. Elder Harker and I are staying in the area and that's really it.
This next transfer will be great. We have a goal to get at least one person to church because none of our investigators ever come to church. Its a battle with them most work on Sundays. But yeah hopefully it starts to warm up because I'm kind of getting sick of the cold and t it being cold every single day but gotta love it out here.
