Hey everyone this week was good.
We had transfers and Elder Harker and I are staying together this transfer.
This week the sun came out Friday and Saturday and it was so awesome.
There was music all over town and everyone was out and about. We got to talk to so many people and you can always tell where the Spanish speakers are based on how loud the music in the street is.
We did service on Friday and helped Presidente Gogna with his yard. We shoveled dirt for like 3 hours it was so nice to have a break from the regular daily schedule.
I totally got sunburned too haha perks of being a gringo.
Then on Saturday we went and helped the Jimenez family move and their stairs were so tight that we had to put the mattresses out the window and drop them from floor to floor to the ground. It was a huge job and they're super excited for their new house.
Plus right after, we got to chill and have some bomb Dominican food.
I tried yuca root which was pretty interesting.
We found some new investigators and they're all doing pretty good.
Plus we saw some dude with a bird on his shoulder walking all around town.
Then saw him 2 hours later in another part of town. That's pretty much describes York in a nutshell. But yuo the work is going great and I can't wait for the sun to stay out and for it to be warm. Again.
